Yahoo CEO Marissa Mayer has named Prashant Fuloriato oversee all ad products for the company.


Prashant Fuloria is a veteran Internet product manager, joined Yahoo last year after it acquired startup Flurry, an Internet portal specializing in mobile-ad and analytics.

According to a Yahoo spokesman, “Yahoo has appointed Prashant Fuloria as senior vice president, Advertising Products, overseeing the development and integration of our advertising products in display, native, video, and mobile including Yahoo Ad Manager Plus, Yahoo Gemini, and BrightRoll,”.

Both Mayer and Fuloria worked at Google between 2003 and 2009. Fuloria managed Google’s products for the APAC region and built the company’s global payment platform as well as payment features for AdWords and AdSense.

In related news, there is one less product that Prashant willed to worry about. Back on January 7th, it was confirmed by Yahoo that they were going to end-of-life RightMedia, one of the pioneering real-time bidding platform’s.
